Members of chambers acted on both side of this lengthy SFO investigation into BAE’s global business affairs, including the public law challenge to the Director’s decision to enter into a plea agreement with the defendant company and the subsequent implementation of the agreement reached between the parties.
Louis Mably advised in relation to two matters concerning the Serious Fraud Office’s lengthy investigation into BAE’s global business affairs. First, with Jonathan Swift QC, he dealt with the public law challenge to the Director’s decision to enter into a plea agreement with the defendant company. Following the successful defeat of that challenge in the High Court, he went on to advise in the substantive criminal proceedings, which led to the successful implementation of the agreement.
