Megan Millar is acting as Junior Counsel to the Inquiry in the Patrick Finucane Inquiry, which opened yesterday in Belfast.
Mr Finucane, a prominent solicitor, was murdered by terrorists in his home on 12 February 1989. The Inquiry was established in March this year, following a 37-year campaign by Mr Finucane’s family, to investigate the circumstances his murder, including allegations of state collusion, in an Article 2 compliant manner.
