The Home Secretary announced today the appointment of Jonathan Hall QC as the Government’s new Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation. Mr Hall’s tenure will begin on 23 May 2019 and, as part of his appointment, Mr Hall will be required to publish an annual report on his findings, which will be laid before Parliament and published.
