Duncan Penny KC successfully prosecuted Ex GCHQ worker, Joshua Bowles.
Bowles, who had two knives, punched and stabbed a US government employee repeatedly at a leisure centre car park on 9 March.
Joshua Bowles, 29, was sentenced to a minimum of 13 years behind bars for the “premeditated, targeted and vicious” attack.
