Duncan Atkinson QC appeared on behalf of the DPP, as an intervener, in Sutherland v HM Advocate, an appeal from the High Court of Justiciary to the Supreme Court concerning the potential infringement of the right to privacy in the context of prosecutions brought using evidence obtained by so called ‘Paedophile hunters’.
