Duncan Penny QC was instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service to prosecute Aaron McKenzie for the murder of ex-girlfriend, Kelly Fauvrolle, and the manslaughter of their child.
McKenzie has been sentenced to life imprisonment and must serve a minimum of 35 years.
