Lucy commenced pupillage in October 2025, under the supervision of Michael Bisgrove.
Lucy has an academic background in psychology. She completed an MSc in Forensic Psychology in 2020, with a particular focus on research into the use of profiling in homicide cases.
From 2020-2025, Lucy was the Clerk to Lady Justice Whipple. Starting in the High Court and then progressing to the Court of Appeal, Lucy provided administrative assistance across a wide range of complex and high-profile Crown Court trials, civil and criminal appeals, including the trial of Danyal Hussein for the murders of Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman, the trial of Labour MP Apsana Begum for fraud, and the appeal of Shamima Begum against the Secretary of State for the Home Department ([2024] EWCA Civ 152).
Lucy was called to the bar by Middle Temple in October 2025.
