Ben Lloyd was instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service in the prosecution of Howard Phillips, who was sentenced to 7 years’ imprisonment for seeking to assist a foreign intelligence service.
His conduct included seeking to provide information relating to Grant Shapps, who at the time was Defence Secretary, to persons Mr Phillips believed were Russian agents.
