Man jailed for five years for Farage death threat

Following a trial at Southwark Crown Court, a man has been found guilty of threatening to kill Nigel Farage MP in a video posted on TikTok.

The court heard that the defendant, Fayaz Khan, 26, posted a video in October last year in which he threatened to shoot Nigel Farage, after Nigel Farage highlighted the defendant’s social media posts, which boasted of a gangster lifestyle and travel from Sweden and attempts to enter the UK via a small boat.

Khan was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment for making the death threat directed at Nigel Farage MP.

Peter Ratliff, instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service, prosecuted the case and secured the conviction.
