Richard Summerscales is 1st Junior Clerk, having worked exclusively for Chambers since 1999.
Richard is a key member of the clerking team and has detailed knowledge and understanding of the specialist practice areas of the Members of Chambers.
Richard’s responsibilities include fee negotiations, practice development and work allocation to all Members of Chambers. He is active in marketing and managing client relationships on behalf of Chambers, as well as implementing business development initiatives.
Richard has had public access training from the Bar Council and can assist with any enquires. Furthermore, in June 2018, after 2 years of studying, Richard completed an ILM level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
